<br />well as details relating to the City Housing Redevelopment Authority (HRA) which was <br />established during 2002. <br /> <br />2.7 Section 7 - Economic & Redevelopment Plans: This section will contain building <br />permit activity for the Year 2002. However, this information will not be available until <br />January 1, 2003. Also contained in this section are a number of redevelopment projects. <br />Listed below is a progress report of those projects: <br /> <br />. City Center Task Force: Awaiting results of bond referendum in 2002. <br /> <br />. Twin Lakes: The approved comprehensive plan amendement for Twin Lakes <br />continues to be a focal point for the community. The implementation of the US EP A <br />grant and Metropolitan Council planning grant allowed additional ground water study, <br />financial evaluation, refined vision and design plans and Twin Lakes parkway <br />appraisals. Staff and Council began review of the first redevelopment plan for over <br />60 acres within the Twin Lakes Business Park since the updated master plan was <br />approved in 2001. <br /> <br />. Arona-Hamline Sites: A Master Plan for the Arona-Hamline Neighborhood, which <br />includes the Hamline Shopping Center and the City-owned Arona site, was developed <br />with neighborhood, developers and faith based input. The plan was approved in <br />March 2002. Metropolitan Council approved the plan with no further amendments. <br />A request for proposal was prepared for development of the City-owned Arona site <br />and 10 proposals were accepted in June of 2002. After staff and Council interviews <br />United Property and Roseville Coalition of Churches proposal was accepted, subject <br />to concept and final PUD approvals. <br /> <br />2.8 Section 8 - Environmental Protection: Details relating to the rewrite of the 1990 <br />Stormwater Management Plan (Plan to be adopted in 2003). Information on the City <br />Recycling Program. <br /> <br />2.9 Section 9 - Parks: The Roseville Park and Recreation Department has adopted a Natural <br />Resources Plan that will also be incorporated into the 2002 affirmation. <br /> <br />2.10 Section 10 - Community Facilities: The Department of Public Works/Engineering has <br />created digital mapping for the City's sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, and all <br />public easements. These updated maps will be incorporated into the 2002 affirmation. <br /> <br />2.11 Section 11 Implementation Strategies: The City of Roseville continues as a partner in <br />the North Metro 1-35W Corridor Coalition, a collaborative planning process for the 35W <br />that included six other cities.
