<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council ofthe City <br />of Rose vi lIe, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall on Monday, the 28th <br />day of January 6,2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Kough, Schroeder, Klausing, Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10065 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE 60-DAY REVIEW PERIOD REGARDING A <br />REQUEST BY DENNIS & PATRICIA HUMPHREYS FOR A VARIANCE AND MINOR <br />SUBDIVISION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 331 BURKE AVENUE (PF3438). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application was submitted by the Dennis & Patricia Humphreys on <br />November 20,2002 for consideration of a Variance (Section 1004.02D5) and a Minor <br />Subdivision of the parcel at 331 Burke Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said application was reviewed and accepted as complete by the City Planner <br />on November 20, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said application was submitted after the deadline date necessary for proper <br />legal notification for the December 4, 2002 Planning Commission meeting, thus the request was <br />forwarded to the Commission for consideration at their January 2003 meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commissions regularly scheduled meeting of January falls on <br />New Years Day, said meeting had to be rescheduled to January 8,2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Martin Luther King Day falls on January 20,2003, a holiday that extends <br />the review of said request by the Council to their January 27,2003 meeting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the application has a review deadline of January 19, 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council meets on January 13, 2003, a date which staff is unable to <br />meet the submittal deadlines and the Council meets on January 27,2003, a date that exceeds the <br />review deadline; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has requested a 60-day extension <br />to the 60-day review period, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 15.99, to allow the proper review <br />and consideration of the Humphrey request; <br />
