EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br /> OF THE
<br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE
<br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
<br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 13th day of May, 2013, at
<br /> 6:00 p.m.
<br /> The following members were present: Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; McGehee; and Roe;
<br /> and the following were absent: None.
<br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br /> RESOLUTION No. 11070
<br /> RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE AWARD OF BIDS
<br /> FOR COUNTY ROAD D & COTTAGE PLACE RECONSTRUCTION,
<br /> SHOREVIEW CITY PROJECTS 13-01A & B
<br /> ROSEVILLE PROJECT 13-02
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans
<br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were
<br /> received on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and
<br /> the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
<br /> Contractor Base Bid w/Alt. #1 Base Bid w/Alt#2
<br /> Arnt Construction Company, Inc. $ 2,075,517.50 $ 2,074,519.50
<br /> C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. $ 2,141,052.30 $ 2,158,847.30
<br /> T.A. Schifsky& Sons Inc. $ 2,309,296.35 $ 2,348,608.35
<br /> Engineer's Estimate: $ 2,100,600.00 $ 2,103,400.00
<br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Arnt Construction Company, Inc, is the lowest responsible bidder
<br /> for the Base Bid and Alternate No.2 for the tabulated price of$ 2,074,519.50, and
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota that the City of Roseville concurs with the decision by the City of Shoreview to
<br /> enter into a contract with Arnt Construction Company, Inc. for $ 2,074,519.50 for the above
<br /> improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the
<br /> City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br /> Minnesota:
<br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member
<br /> Willmus, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Willmus;
<br /> Laliberte; Etten; McGehee; and Roe
<br /> ;and the following voted against the same: None.
<br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
