EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special emergency meeting of the City Council <br /> of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of <br /> June, 2013 at 11:09 am <br /> The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, LaLiberte, Etten, and Mayor <br /> Roe <br /> and the following were absent: Etten <br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 11076 <br /> RESOLUTION TO EXTEND PERIOD OF LOCAL EMERGENCY <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 12.29, subd. 1 allows the governing body <br /> of a local government to extend the period of a local emergency declared <br /> pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 12.29, subd. 1. <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor of Roseville has found that the following emergency <br /> situation exists: <br /> Widespread storm damage to both public and private properties including wind <br /> damage and localized flooding impacting local infrastructure. <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor has declared that the situation constitutes a local <br /> emergency; <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council agrees with the Mayor's findings and further finds <br /> that the local emergency will last for more than three days; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that: <br /> 1) The local emergency is recognized as continuing until July 8, 2013. <br />
