<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of December, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present:Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka, <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10063 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 86 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.01A4 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2749 WOODBRIDGE STREET (PF 3442). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oscar Knudson has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A4 of the <br />Roseville City Code in allow an existing attached storage structure to remain (required to be <br />removed with building permit) on the premises; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Knudson parcel is located at 2749 Woodbridge Street and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />The East Y:z of the North 120 feet of the East Y:z of the West Y:z of the Southeast 1;4 of the Southeast <br />Y:z of Section 1, Township 29, Range 23. <br /> <br />PID Number: 01-29-23-44-0004 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A41imits a residential parcel in Roseville to a maximum <br />accessory building size of 1,008 square feet with a conditional use permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Knudson received a building permit to construct a 384 square foot <br />addition onto an existing detached accessory structure, which structure would be 864 square feet <br />with the removal of the 230 square foot attached storage structure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Knudson upon completion of the addition determined he would like to <br />keep the attached 230 square foot storage area, thus becoming in default of the building permit, <br />unless a variance and conditional use permit were granted by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal by Mr. Knudson seeks to allow an additional 86 square foot of <br />detached accessory building square footage that allowed by the City Code; and <br /> <br />1 <br />
