C. <br /> <br />Request by Grace Church Roseville for a VARIANCE to Section <br />1009.03M of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement of two <br />ground (monument) signs on the Church premises (PF3446). <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP /DPW <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Grace Church Roseville has applied for a variance on each of its existing ground signs. <br />One sign currently lies within the County Road B2 right-of-way and the other, lies three <br />feet from the property line adjacent to Hamline A venue. This request seeks a variance of <br />15 feet and 12 feet, respectively, to the required 15 foot setback. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />. Application submitted & determined complete on November 6, 2002. <br />. 60-day review deadline on January 5, 2002. <br />. Staff Review: Approval with conditions - December 4, 2002. <br />. Planning Commission: Hearing &Approval Recommendation (6-0) w/Conditions, <br />December 4, 2002. <br />. City Council Action: Approval w/Conditions, December 16,2002. <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of the request by the Grace <br />Church Roseville for a 15 foot variance allowing the installation (replacement) of a <br />ground sign on the property line adjacent to County Road B2 and a 12 foot variance <br />allowing the installation (replacement) of a ground sign three feet from the property line <br />adjacent to Hamline Avenue, subject to the conditions indicated in Section 6 of this <br />project report. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Grant a resolution approving a variance for two signs w/conditions (see Section 8 for <br />more detail). <br /> <br />Project information and detailed recommendation on following pages. <br /> <br />PF3446 - ReA 121602 - Page 1 of 4 <br />
