We are submitting a request for a variance pertaining to setback requirements for
a new home. The building site is a peninsula shaped lot bordered by Woodruff
Ave. on the south and S. McCarrons Blvd on the north. From the curb on S.
McCarrons Blvd the city property extends 30 feet to the lot line, from Woodruff
city property extends 15 - 25 feet to the lot line. Setback requirements are 30
feet from each street side property line or a total of 60 feet. The lot is approx. 68
feet wide leaving only 8 feet to build a house.
Having consulted with the Roseville city planner, Thomas Paschke, the request is
for a blanket variance to allow flexibility in orienting the proposed house on the
site.
Also we have a couple questions:
Would it be possible to have the street address for our home on Woodruff Ave.,
right now the address for the property is S. McCarrons Blvd.?
The second question is who is responsible for maintaining the retaining wall that
is on city property located on Woodruff Ave.?
