E. <br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP jDPW <br /> <br />City Manager Approval <br /> <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />Request by John Meyer for an 887 square foot VARIANCE (7%) to <br />Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code allowing the replacement <br />and expansion of an existing driveway at 2735 Fernwood Street <br />(PF3486). <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 John Meyer, 2735 Femwood Street, seeks approval ofa variance to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the replacement and <br />expansion of his existing driveway, which improvement will increase the impervious <br />coverage on the parcel (11,985 sq. ft.) from the allowable amount of 3,596 square feet <br />(30%) to 4,483 square feet (37%). <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br /> <br />. City Council Action: Approval w/conditions - June 16, 2003 <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br />2.1 The Community Development Staff recommends approval of an 887 square foot (7%) <br />VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code for John Meyers to allow <br />the replacement and expansion of his existing driveway at 2735 Fernwood Avenue, <br />subject to conditions. <br /> <br />2.2 On June 4, 2003, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />the Meyer request and concluded that the request met the criteria necessary for <br />recommending the granting of a variance and voted 6-0 to recommend approval of the <br />request. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 Adopt a resolution approving the request w/conditions (see Section 8 for more detail). <br /> <br />PF3486 - ReA 061603 - Page 1 of 5 <br />
