<br /> <br />Community Development Department <br />651-490-2279 . fax: 651-490-2931 <br /> <br />July 23, 2003 <br /> <br />David Frigaard <br />340 Maple Lane <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: City Council Action ofa Variance to sectionlO04.02D5 of the Rosevil/e City Code at <br />340 Maple Lane (PF3495). <br /> <br />Dear David: <br /> <br />This letter is to confirm that on July 21, 2003, the Roseville City Council approved your request <br />for a 7'- 6" variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code that allows you to proceed <br />forward with your plans to construct a front porch/entry. <br /> <br />The Roseville City Council adopted the Resolution (a copy is attached) approving your request. <br />The Resolution was approved contingent upon your compliance with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The applicant must locate the lot's property pins and based on that, develop a <br />scaled site plan with dimensions including the existing home and proposed porch, <br />thus allowing the Community Development Department to verify building <br />setbacks. <br /> <br />2. The covered entry porch must be set back a minimum of 22 feet 6 inches from the <br />north (front yard) property line <br /> <br />3. The review and approval of a building permit must be consistent with the <br />approved plans and variance. The porch addition must match the existing <br />building in color and/or materials. <br /> <br />The City will record a similar copy of the attached resolution with Ramsey County. Recording <br />of the resolution against your property binds you and/or other succeeding property owners to all <br />the terms and conditions stipulated in the City Council's approved resolution. Please review the <br />conditions listed within the resolution. <br />
