<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of July, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Schroeder, Maschka, Klausing, Kough, and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10116 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 7' - 6" VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 <br />(DWELLING DIMENSIONS - FRONT YARD SETBACK) OF THE ROASVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR DAVID FRlGAARD, 340 MAPLE LANE COURT (3495). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, David Frigaard has requested a Variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a front entry porch to replace an existing patio; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Frigaard parcel is located at 340 Maple Lane Court, legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 2, Tschida Owasso Hills Plat No.2 <br />PIN: 10-29-23-13-0054 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires a minimum front <br />yard setback of 30 feet from a property line; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Frigaard home is currently set back 24 feet from the front <br />property line adjacent to Maple Lane Court, and with said addition the setback becomes <br />22 feet 6 inches; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department reviewed the request against the <br />variance criteria stipulated in Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code and concluded that <br />hardships were present on the Frigaard parcel to warrant support for the requested variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Gregg variance on July 9,2003, and recommended (5-0) approval of the request based on <br />findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated July 9, <br />2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant David <br />Frigaard a 7 foot 6 inch VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code allowing <br />the construction a front entry porch at 340 Maple Land Court, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1 <br />
