The request requires a 3 foot
Setback Pem1it to allow the encroachment to a point 2 feet from the side yard property line. The
stated purpose of this request is to create a wider paved driveway affording Mr. Feist an area to
park his boat. The project also includes the installation of a boulder wall to deal with drainage.

The Setback Permit process allows adjacent property owners the opportunity to comment on the
proposal in writing or to comment at the above-mentioned hearing. Should you have any
comments or questions about this particular Setback Permit application, please feel free to attend
the Development Review Committee's Administrative Hearing on Thursday, July 17, 2003, at
3:20 p.m. (Community Development Conference Room); you may call me at 651-490-2236;
or you can e-mail me at thom~~~RaS9hke~@(::iroseyHle-,-lJLn.u$.

Attached for your information is a copy of the application, and proposed plans. If a decision to
approve the request is made, a building permit can be issued in ten (l0) days or less depending
on whether an appeal is filed by an adjacent property owner.

Sincerely,

if ROSEVILLE

Thomas Paschke
City Planner

Attachments:
