Per Mr. Goldblatt's correspondence dated 10/08/14, this apartment complex is a Section 8 authorized HUD apartment <br /> apparently renting to seniors. <br /> 2. While his letter goes on to say that their tenants object to "too many invasions of their privacy", there is no <br /> documentation provided to substantiate this assertion. <br /> 3. Many of the required inspections referred in the attached email from Mr. Goldblatt do not involve entry into the tenants <br /> apartment but are more focused on mechanical and common areas. <br /> Given these facts, I consider this to be a somewhat vulnerable population deserving of the protections offered by the <br /> City's Rental Licensing ordinance, and the diligence of City officials to ensure those protections. <br /> In summary, I appreciate Mr. Munson's thoughtful analysis and support his recommendation for denial of this request. <br /> Thanks, <br /> Lisa McCormick <br /> 1 <br />
