<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of October, 2002, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10043 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A11 AND <br />SECTION 1004.02D4 (SIDE YARD SETBACK ADJACENT TO PUBLIC STREET) OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />388 SOUTH MCCARRONS BOULEVARD (PF 3430). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mack Meade has requested a 13.5 foot variance to Section 1004.02D4 (Side <br />Yard setback Adjacent a Public Street) in order to construct an attached garage and living area <br />improvements to his home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Meade parcel is located at 388 South McCarrons Boulevard and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />Parcell: That part of Lot 1 lying North of the South 5 feet of said Lot; <br /> <br />Parcel2: That part of Lot 2 lying North of the south 5 feet of said Lot, except that part of <br />said Lot 2 lying Westerly of the following described line: beginning on the Westerly line of <br />said Lot 2 distant 44.89 feet Southerly on the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence <br />Northerly on a straight line to a point on the Northerly line of said lot 2, distant 10 feet <br />Easterly of the Northwest corner of said Lot 2 and there terminating; also except that part <br />of said Lot 2 described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west line of said Lot 2, 5 <br />feet North of the Southwest corner thereof, thence Easterly along the North line of the <br />South 5 feet of said Lot 2 for 15.77 feet; thence Northwesterly on a straight line to a point <br />on the West line of said Lot 2 which is 10 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; <br />thence Southerly along the West line to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />All in Block 2, Rolling Greens, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />PIN: 13-29-23-31-0116 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D4limits a corner lot to a setback requirement of30 feet <br />from each public right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mack Meade desires to construct an attached tuck under garage and living <br />area improvement 16.5 feet from the eastern property line (adjacent to Western Avenue); and <br /> <br />1 <br />
