To: Craig Klausing Mayor
Tom Kough, Council Member
Dean Maschka - Council Member
Greg Schroeder. Council Member
Amy Ihlan. Council Member

This memo is to support the development of the Twin Lakes site. Until we heard from 2
gentlemen opposing it I did not know that it was that controversial. All their maps and
lists inspired to write and tell of this support.

We are very impressed that the City ofRoseville is finally going to do something positive
with that area. While we live just north of County Road C and Hamline we drive that
area often and it such blight to the image ofRoseville.

We also want to state that we are delighted to think that Costco is coming to us rather
than we having to go to Coon Rapids which is only very occasionally. The arguments
related to Apache Plaza (was not sure until now where it was) and the Quarry do not hold
up in our thinking. We had lived in S1. Anthony Park for 18 years following our return
from Bellevue W A and moved to RoseviIIe for a retirement rambler when the children
were gone. What a delightful city that is vibrant and now focused.

Good luck in your deliberations but we do support the development.

Thank You,

Ufi4lll~

Charles McJilton
1393 Brooks Ave West
Roseville.
