The main purpose of this Chapter is to regulate the keeping of dogs and cats. <br /> <br />General Comments. As with all other pmis of the codification, the language in this Chapter has been <br />simplified and made gender neutral. <br /> <br />Also, the Articles have been rearranged so that "Large Animals" is the last Article. Consequently, all of <br />the Aliicles dealing with dogs and cats now will follow one another. <br /> <br />New Materials 6-3.1. Humane Disposal. Expanded the City's ability to humanely dispose of an animal <br />to include diseased animals as wells as vicious animals. <br /> <br />Confinement and Cleanup - 6-16 - 6-17. Previously, a separate Article covered confinement and <br />cleanup for dogs and then this same information was repeated in another Article for cats.
