<br /> <br /> <br />Subd. 4 Domestic Animal. The words "Domestic Animal" shall mean any <br /> <br />domesticated dog or cat commonly accepted as household pets. <br /> <br />Subd. 5 Kennel, Commercial and Residential. <br /> <br />A. The words "Commercial Kennel" shall mean any structure specifically <br /> <br />designed and used for the commercial breeding, sale or harboring of <br /> <br />three (3) or more dogs that are more than three (3) months old. <br /> <br />B. The words "Residential Kennel" shall mean any structure specifically <br /> <br />designed and used for the non-commercial harboring of up to three (3) <br /> <br />dogs that are more than three (3) months old, in conjunction with a <br /> <br />residential use of property. <br /> <br />Subd. 6 Local Animal Control Officer. The words "Local Animal Control Officer" <br /> <br />shall mean any person employed or contracted by the City for the purpose of aiding in <br /> <br />the enforcement of this chapter. The duties of a local animal control officer may be <br /> <br />assigned to the City=s law enforcement agency. <br /> <br />Subd. 7 Nuisance. The word "Nuisance" shall mean any dog which habitually or <br /> <br />frequently barks or cries; frequents school grounds, parks or public beaches; chases <br /> <br />4-2 <br /> <br />Adopted <br /> <br />, 2001 <br />
