Obviously we have no agriculture
zones any more. The specific proposed nuisance section language is:
Prohibiting Keeping of Farm Animals:
Keeping Of Farm Animals: The keeping, or raising for food, of any bees, poultrv, cows, horses, sheep, goats or
any four (4) legged animal commonly known as farm animals, in any yard, pasture, structure. stable or
enclosure is prohibited. (underlined words are proposed)

Does your city prohibit the keeping, or raising for food, of farm animals and poultry? yes
no

If you prohibit such uses, have you had any code compliance problems?
could you explain?

yes

If yes,

If you allow bees, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, etc to be kept and raised for food, have you had any
code compliance issues? Please explain. (Roseville still has one resident who keeps full grown turkeys as
pets - this use is grandfathered in...and the neighbors are waiting for either the gentleman or the turkeys
to pass on.)

Roseville's City Council always likes to know if someone else has been a "pioneer" in such burning
issues.

Thanks for your time and help.
