<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city <br />council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 13th day of February, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, <br />and Rog, and the fOllowing were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8416 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR RAMSEY COUNTY LIBRARY SITE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Roseville has consistently supported the <br />upgrading and expansion of the Ramsey County Roseville Library <br />facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County Board has previously selected Roseville as an <br />expansion site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Library has consistently shown one of the <br />highest uses in the State; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville encourages the County Board to proceed with its land <br />acquisition negotiations; <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that based on the current R-1 zoning, the <br />fact that the city Comprehensive Plan designates the area as low <br />density residential, and the present facts that are known to the city <br />at this time, the Roseville city Council sees no reason that anyone <br />should construe this property as anything other than residential <br />property. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Matson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Matson, and Rog, and the <br />following voted against the same: Cushman and Kehr. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
