EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the city council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of February, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Kehr, Johnson, Matson, and Rog, and the fOllowing were absent: None. Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8416 RESOLUTION FOR RAMSEY COUNTY LIBRARY SITE WHEREAS, the city of Roseville has consistently supported the upgrading and expansion of the Ramsey County Roseville Library facility; and WHEREAS, the County Board has previously selected Roseville as an expansion site; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Library has consistently shown one of the highest uses in the State; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville encourages the County Board to proceed with its land acquisition negotiations; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that based on the current R-1 zoning, the fact that the city Comprehensive Plan designates the area as low density residential, and the present facts that are known to the city at this time, the Roseville city Council sees no reason that anyone should construe this property as anything other than residential property. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Matson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Matson, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: Cushman and Kehr. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
