Specific to this plat was a 30 foot wide dedication for the future roadway <br />to be known as Wagner Street. On July 2, 1980, a roadway easement was granted to the <br />City of Roseville, which easement is 30 feet wide, 266 feet long, and directly adjacent to <br />386 Wagner Street. On May 6,1992, a roadway easement for a portion of the Western <br />Avenue cul-de-sac was granted to the City of Roseville, <br /> <br />Judith LeTendre, property owner at 386 Wagner Street, has requested that a portion of the <br />30 foot wide by 266 feet long easement be vacated, <br /> <br />Mr. Paschke further indicated that the proposal to vacate the southern portion of the 30 <br />foot by 266 foot roadway easement has been reviewed by the Public Works Department. <br />The roadway easement has been determined to be unnecessary, Specifically, Wagner <br />Street will remain a dead end cul-de-sac west of W estern Avenue (never to connect) and <br />the easement has no public utilities beneath it. <br /> <br />Ms. LeTendre had no comment. <br /> <br />George Cartwright, 1823 W estern Avenue, asked for clarification on setbacks and <br />frontages and the vacation process, He expressed concern about the potential large house <br />on the lot south of his lot. <br /> <br />Ms. Ann Elias, 1823 W estern Ave., asked how close an owner can build to a side lot line <br />(10 feet from the side lot line), She asked for further detail on the easement. <br /> <br />Jay Rollinger, 403 Wagner, asked ifhe could request a vacation of non-road land in front <br />of his house (yes), <br /> <br />Ann Elias likes the public access ways for pedestrians and hopes they can remain, <br /> <br />Deb Bloom and Thomas Paschke explained this right-of-way is not on the pathway plan <br />and there is no funding for a public pathway, <br /> <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing, <br /> <br />MOTION: Member Pust moved, second by Member Bakeman, to recommend <br />approval of the request by Judith LeTendre to vacate a portion of the 30 foot by 266 <br />foot roadway easement, that being a piece 30' x 153', directly adjacent to 386 <br />
