Community Development Department
651-792-7005+ fax: 651.792-7070

July 16, 2004

Dear Roseville Property Owner:

You are cordially invited to attend and participate in the Roseville Development Review
Committee's (DRC) Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, July 22, at 3:30 p.m., in the
Roseville City Hall Community Development Conference Room.

lVlark Anderson, 693 Terrace Drive, seeks approval of a 2 foot SIDE YARD SETBACK
PERMIT to allow the construction of an attached garage that would lie 8 feet from the
southwest property line. The Roseville City Code requires principal structures to be set back a
minimum of 10 feet from a side yard property line. The proposal by Mr. Anderson seeks to
construct an attached garage (considered an integral component of the principal structure) 2 feet
into the required 10 foot setback of a distance of 8 feet from the property line. Thus a Setback
Pem1it is necessary before a building permit can be issued.

The Setback Pennit process allows adjacent property owners the opportunity to comment on the
proposal in writing or to comment at the above-mentioned hearing. Should you have any
comments or questions about this particular Setback Permit application, please feel free to attend
the DRC's Administrative Hearing on Thursday, July 22, at 3:30 p.m. (Community
Development Conference Room); you may call me at 651-792-7074; or you can e-mail me at
thomas. paschke<<iJ.c i .rosevi 11 e. mn. us.

Attached for your information is a copy of the application, and proposed plans. If a decision to
approve the request is made, a building permit can be issued in ten (10) days or less depending
on whether an appeal is filed by an adjacent property owner.

Regards,
//f
/ClT I of ROSEVlLLE

Thomas Paschke
City Planner

Attachments:
