<br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />Rosevil1e, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 8th day of August, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Kough, Schroeder, Maschka, TIll an. <br />The following members were absent: <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING KIWANIS DAY PEANUT DAY <br />FRIDAY~ SEPTEMBER 23~ 2005 <br /> <br />'VHEREAS~ The NOlih Suburban Golden K Kiwanis Club, headqumiered in Roseville, <br />is an organization dedicated to helping community youths and other educational and spiritually; <br />and <br /> <br />'VHEREAS~ the Golden K Kiwanis Club is also committed to other community services, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />'VHEREAS~ in order to raise funds for its many and varied programs, the North <br />Suburban Golden K Kiwanis Club has requested a day be set aside in Roseville for the <br />distribution of peanuts. <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOL VED~ that the City of Rose vi lIe City Council <br />hereby designates FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23,2005 as <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE GOLDEN K KI'V ANIS PEANUT DAY <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member <br />_, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />1 <br />
