<br /> <br />Since 1968 <br /> <br />May 20,2004 <br /> <br />Roseville Planning Commission <br /> <br />Dear Members, <br /> <br />Following is some brief information about our company and our proposed Roseville Staybridge Suites. <br /> <br />Stockman Management Company, operates as part of Stockman Motel Corporation. The principals are <br />brothers, Mike, Terry and Randy Stockman. At this time we own and operate five limited service hotel! <br />motel facilities located in Texas, Georgia, Indiana and North Dakota, we also have another under <br />construction in Ohio. Three are Holiday Inn Express, one a Best Western and two are independent. <br /> <br />The three of us have been in the hospitality industry since 1968, when at that time our parents bought a <br />small motel in Wisconsin, we have since that time been involved in the day to day operation of sixteen <br />properties in ten states, ranging from that first 12 unit motel to 126 unit full service. <br /> <br />The Staybridge Suites brand is a Holiday Inn product, it was launched about five years ago and today has <br />approximately seventy-five properties open including one each in, Maple Grove, Bloomington and Eagan. <br />This product is an upper tier extended stay hotel, very similar to Residence Inn. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Stockman Motel Corp. <br /> <br />
