<br /> <br />Pursuant to and a regular meeting the City <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of July, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder,Klausing <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10230 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF A 30 FOOT BY 30 FOOT <br />PORTION OF THE HURON AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />ADJACENT TO 1866 HURON AVENUE (PF3581). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Yayun Lin has requested the vacation of a portion of Huron Avenue <br />adjacent to his parcel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; the Yayun Lin parcel is located at 1866 Huron Avenue and is legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 7, Block 2, Roselawn Acres <br />PIN: 15-29-23-42-0060 <br /> <br />WHEREAS; the Roseville Public Works Department has determined that that the <br />requested portion of Huron A venue right-of-way is no longer necessary for roadway purposes or <br />utility and/or drainage easements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; said portion of right-of-way to be vacated is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that portion of Huron Avenue lying east of the west property line of Lot 7, Block <br />2, Roselawn Acres and is 30 feet by 30 feet or 900 square feet in size. <br /> <br />WHERE the Roseville Planning Commission on July 7,2004 held the public hearing <br />regarding the Yayun request and unanimously (6-0) recommended approved, subject to one <br />condition; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to approve the <br />request by Yayun Lin for a STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION of a portion of Huron <br />Avenue based on the findings of Section 5 ofthe project report dated July 26, 2004, and subject <br />to the following condition: <br /> <br />a. The applicant submitting the legal description of the area to be vacated and the <br />proper legal document on which to record the vacation at Ramsey County, both to <br />be reviewed and approved by the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br />1 <br />
