<br /> <br />to <br />RoseviHe, <br /> <br /> <br />a <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on <br /> <br /> <br />The <br /> <br /> <br />members were <br /> <br />Chair Bakeman and Members Doherty <br /> <br />Variance Board <br /> <br />Doherty introduced the fonowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />VB RESOLUTION NO, 4 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1-1/2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 10ll,02B3 <br />(REQUIRED YARD & OPEN SPACE - SIDE OR REAR YARD ONLY) OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR MICHAEL THIENES, 284 MCCARRONS <br />BOULEVARD SOUTH (PF3593) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Michael Thienes, has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1012.02B3 <br />(Required Yard & Open Space - Side and Rear Yard Only) of the RoseviHe City Code to allow <br />the installation of a 8 foot privacy fence in the rear yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Thienes property is located at 284 McCarrons Boulevard South, and <br />legally described as: <br /> <br />Lot 38, Block 1, Rolling Green, excluding the westerly 25 feet and easterly 30 feet. <br />PIN 12~29-23-42-0035 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 1012.02B3 requires fences in rear and side yards to be a maximum of 6-1/2 <br />feet in height; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Thienes desires to install a fence in a portion of his rear and side yard 8 <br />feet in height; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the RoseviHe City Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the RoseviHe Variance Board, to approve a <br />1 foot 6 inch VARIANCE to Section 1012.02B3 of the RoseviHe City Code for Michael Thienes <br />to allow the installation of an 8 foot tall fence in a portion of the rear and side yard or 284 <br />McCarrons Boulevard South, subject to the following condition: <br /> <br />L The fence not exceeding a height of 8 feet when measured from the existing grade <br />to the top of fence. <br />
