<br /> <br />Department Approval: <br />TP <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Item Description: <br /> <br />Request by Enterprise Leasing Company of Minnesota (tenant) in <br />cooperation with The Thorne Group(owner), for a CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT to allow small vehicle rental and leasing at 3114 Old Highway 8 <br />(PF3598), <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br /> <br />1.1 Enterprise Leasing Company of Minnesota seeks approval of a conditional use permit to <br />allow small vehicle rental and leasing to occur at 3114 Old Highway 8. The use is to be <br />located within a B-3 General Business District where small vehicle rental and leasing is <br />permitted (Section 1005.0015) only through issuance of a conditional use permit <br />consistent with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code. <br /> <br />1.2 The conditional use permit process for this request allows the City to consider <br />compatibility with adjoining properties; impacts on traffic, public facilities, and property <br />values; impact on the general health, safety, and public welfare; and compatibility with <br />the City's comprehensive plan, The process also allows the City to impose those <br />conditions it considers necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />PROJECT REVIEW HISTORY <br />. City Council Action: Approval w/Conditions, September 27, 2004. <br /> <br />2.0 SUMMARY of RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />2.1 At their meeting of September 1, 2004 the Roseville Planning Commission recommended <br />(5-0) approval of a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT for Enterprise Leasing of <br />Minnesota for property at 3114 Old Highway 8, subject to conditions. The Community <br />Development Department concurs with this recommendation. <br /> <br />3.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> <br />3.1 ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT for <br />Enterprise Leasing Company of Minnesota to allow small vehicle rental and leasing at <br />3114 Old Highway 8, subject to conditions.
