<br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />August 3, 2004 <br /> <br />Family Academy Charter School <br />3000 Hamline Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Request for an Interim Use Permit Renewing/Expanding Facilities <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to confirm that the Roseville City Council, at their meeting of <br />July 26, 2004, unanimously approved your request for the renewal and expansion of your <br />facilities at 3000 Hamline A venue, as outlined in the attached Resolution 10232. This <br />approval has been conditioned upon your compliance with the following provisions: <br /> <br />1) The interim use permit being limited to a period not to exceed one year <br />(12 months) from September 24,2004 to September 24,2005. The <br />interim use pennit will be periodically reviewed administratively and any <br />issues/concems brought to the attention of Family Academy and/or the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />2) The Interim Use Permit shall become null and void after 12 months <br />(beginning on September 24,2004) of operation unless the applicant <br />applies for a future interim use permit 180 days prior to the permit <br />expiration date. <br /> <br />3) The Interim Use Permit is limited to the use as a temporary classroom (2 <br />modular buildings (56 foot by 72 foot and 56 foot by 86 foot) and eight <br />total classrooms, and one temporary office (12 foot by 56 foot) by Family <br />Academy. No additional parking is required. <br /> <br />4) The modular classroom facilities must be removed within 30 days if the <br />use as a temporary classroom is discontinued. <br /> <br />5) A fire alarm system with strobe lights must be provided in each of the six <br />classrooms. <br /> <br />6) The modular classroom building must be skirted and include a ramp for <br />handicapped access. <br /> <br />
