The Staff has determined that the <br />allowance of a 731 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section l004.01A6 (Maximum Total <br />Surface Area) of the RoseviUe City Code will not alter the essential character of the <br />locality, nor adversely affect the public health, safety, or general welfare, of the city <br />or adjacent properties. <br /> <br />6.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />6.1 The Staff recommends approval of a 731 sq. ft. VARIANCE to Section 1004.01A6 of <br />the Roseville City Code for Cliff Gustafson, 1666 Oakcrest Avenue, based on the <br />findings in Section 5 and the following conditions: <br /> <br />a. The detached accessory structure (when the addition is complete) shall be limited <br />to a size not to exceed 820 sq. ft. <br /> <br />b. Total impervious on the parcel shall not exceed a total of 4,219 sq. ft. <br /> <br />c. The addition to the existing accessory structure shall meet the 5 foot side yard <br />setback or be on the same setback line as the existing structure. <br /> <br />d. A site plan indicating all existing conditions and proposed improvements must be <br />submitted with the building permit application. <br /> <br />e. No garden shed or additional detached accessory structure shall be allowed.
