<br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Variance Board the <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Mimlesota, was held on the 3rd day of November, at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Mulder and <br />Boerigter. <br /> <br /> <br />Variance Board Member Mulder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />VB RESOLUTION NO.7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1,145 SQARE FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION <br />1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR CHRISTINE & KRIS RENHBERG, 1316 SHRYER AVENUE (PF3606) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Christine & Kris Rehnberg have requested a V ARIANCE to Section <br />1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction <br />of a 672 sq. ft. detached accessory building (garage) in their rear yard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rehnberg property is located at 1316 Shryer Avenue, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />West ~ of Lot 9 and all of Lot 10, Block 11, <br />Midway Hills Rearrangement of Como Gardens <br />PIN 15-29-23-13-0036 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 10004.01A6 requires a maximum impervious coverage on Single Family <br />Residential property not to exceed 30% of the lot size, or in the case of the Rehnberg parcel <br />2,412 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rehnberg parcel has a current impervious coverage of2,185 sq. ft. <br />(30%) and the proposed detached accessory building (garage) and driveway would increase the <br />total to 3,557 sq. ft (44%); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed garage requires a VARIANCE of 1,145 sq. ft. in accordance <br />with Section 1013 of the Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve a <br />1,145 sq. ft VARIANCE to Section 1004.01 A6 of the Roseville City Code for Christine & Kris <br />Rehnberg to allow the construction of a detached accessory building and increased driveway at <br />1316 Shryer Avenue, subject to the following condition: <br /> <br />1 <br />
