<br /> <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />10 <br />11 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 201 OF THE CITY CODE BY <br />AMENDING SECTION 203.03 THROUGH 203.04, REGARDING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION TERMS AND APPOINTMENTS. <br /> <br />The City Council of Roseville ordains: <br /> <br />Title 2, Commissions, Sections 202.03 through Section <br />Code is hereby amended and shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />12 201.03: MEMBERS OF COMMISSION: <br /> <br />13 A. Members: Members shall be residents of the City. <br />14 R Term of Appointment: of the members of the Commission shall be appointed for <br />15 terms of three (3) years. A commissioner's full term shall begin on April 1. A <br />16 commission member may serve up to two (2) full terms, plus any unexpired term for <br />17 which the member was appointed. Both original and successive appointees shall hold <br />18 their offices until their successors are appointed and qualified. <br />19 C. Vacancies: Vacancies during the term shall be filled by the City Council for the <br />20 unexpired portion of the term. <br />21 D. Oath: Every appointed member shall, before entering upon the discharge of his/her <br />22 duties, take an oath that he/she will faithfully discharge the duties of his/her office. <br />23 E. Compensation: All members shall serve without compensation. (Ord. 194, 4-19- <br />24 1955; 1995 Code) <br />25 <br /> <br />26 201.04: ORGANIZATION: <br /> <br />27 A. Officers: The Council shall appoint one of the members to act as chairperson. The <br />28 Community Development Director or designee shall act as the Planning <br />29 Commission's secretary. <br />30 R Term: The term of the chairperson shall be for one year. The chairperson shall either <br />31 be reappointed or replaced by the City Council at the first regular City Council <br />32 meeting of April during each calendar year. <br />33 C. Additional Officers and Committees: The Planning Commission may elect such <br />34 other officers as may be necessary and may give the chairperson authority to appoint <br />35 committees if such should become necessary. <br />36 1995 Code). <br />37 <br /> <br />38 <br /> <br />
