<br /> <br />to due and notice thereof, a <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the <br /> <br />The following members were present: Chair Bakeman and Members Pust, Doherty, and <br />Boerigter, <br /> <br /> <br />Variance Board Member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />VB RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES TO SECTION 1009 OF THE OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR TARGET CORPORATION AT 1515 AND 1495 <br />COUNTY ROAD B (PF3635) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Corporation has requested V ARlANCES to Section 1009.03M of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the installation of ground signs at the new Super Target and <br />Perkins; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these properties are addressed as 1515 and 1495 County Road D, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 1 & 2, Block 1, RoseviIIe Business Park <br />PIN (to be issued) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1009.03M (Ground Signs) states: In lieu of a pylon sign, a ground <br />sign would be permitted. Ground signs may be of equal sign area allowed for pylon signs in the <br />same zoning district. Ground signs shall be limited to a maximum of eight feet in height. <br />Ground signs may be set back from street rights-of-way a distance equal to one half of the <br />setback (15 feet) for pylon signs in the same zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Corporation seeks to install 2 - 20 foot tall ground signs on the Super <br />Target property (1 adjacent to Snelling Avenue and 1 adjacent to County Road B) and 1 - 8 foot <br />tall ground sign on the Perking propel1y (adjacent to County Road B); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Perkins ground sign adjacent to County Road B would be located 10 feet <br />from the property line adjacent to County Road B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Planner has concluded that "hardships" are present and support can <br />be given to deviate from the strict requirements of the Roseville City Code; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville Variance Board, to approve <br />the following V ARlANCES: <br /> <br />1 <br />
