According to M.S. 282.0], Subd. ]d, property acquired before <br />August], 200] must revert back to the State after five years if it was not put to its approved public use. <br /> <br />The enclosed form lists a description of each parcel acquired by the city of Roseville. Please complete this form by <br />filling in the use(s) of the property, sign and return it to us within 90 days using the address below. <br /> <br />The city of Roseville acquired this property for an approved public use. If it is no longer or has never been used for <br />that purpose, according to Minnesota statute, it is the responsibility of the city of Roseville to either purchase the <br />property or reconvey the property back to the state. This also applies to any portion ofthe property that is no longer <br />or has never been used for the acquired purpose. <br /> <br />We have enclosed SD Forms 975 (complete reconveyance), 976 (partial reconveyance) for your convenience. Form <br />PT80 (purchase) can be provided by your county auditor. <br /> <br />If the current use of the property is not consistent with the original approved use and if the property has been put to <br />another public use, you need to request a change of use using SD Farm 96]. Your county board and the Department <br />of Revenue would then determine if the new use qualifies as an approved use. <br /> <br />Please respond to this letter within 90 days after the date of this letter. If the city of Roseville does not fulfill its <br />responsibilities vvithin 90 days, the Department of Revenue will assume that the land for which no report is received <br />is not being put to the approved public use. The Department of Revenue will then prepare a declaration of reversion <br />and serve notice of reversion to the city of Roseville. <br /> <br />Your prompt attention to this matter will be appreciated.
