<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RE: Proposed Grading Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Gentlemen: <br /> <br />On October 16, 2000, of Roseville <br />on behalf of Hills Country <br />function room. Specifically, that berm <br />request proposes to modify from special <br />straightening the berm in a more northerly direction <br />approved in the landscape and grading plan a slight hook or curve to <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />a <br />the <br />northeast corner <br />room towards the golf course by <br />berm <br /> <br /> <br />On October 24,2000, I notified residents 350 feet of the proposed berm modification <br />seeking comments regarding the grading change and indicating that the City would make a <br />decision on Tuesday, October 31. Most of the responses I received were supportive, however, <br />on October 27 the City received a letter from Mr. John Robinson, 2235 North Rosewood Lane, <br />indicating opposition to the berm modification and the Community Development Department <br />position that the change is a minor amendment to your Conditional Permit. <br /> <br />Since that date, Midland Hills Country Club, Rick Christensen, and Chang, met <br />Mr. Robinson and his attorney to review the proposed grading modification. The result of this <br />meeting, as understood by the City, is that further information will be provided to Mr. Robinson <br />to clarify the berm modification. As well, Midland Hills will work with Mr. Robinson to resolve <br />his concerns regarding any directional modifIcation of the berm to the northeast and adjacent <br />landscape screening. <br /> <br />Given your discussion with Mr. Robinson and a forthcdming resolution on his concerns <br />regarding the berm modification and potential for additional landscape screening, we hereby <br />conditionally approve the proposed minor grading plan subject to the Club providing the_City a <br />formal written agreement within 30 days of the date of this letter between Mr. Robinson and <br />Midland Hills Country Club regarding the exact confIguration of the northern most portion of the <br />northeastern berm, and any additional landscape screening or modifications that will be <br />provided. <br /> <br /> <br />
