Attachment B <br />City of Roseville <br />ORDINANCE SUMMARY NO. <br />1 <br />OAT9,C908TRRL <br />ANRDINANCE MENDING ITLE HAPTEROEGULATE ENTAL ICENSING FOR <br />2 <br />MRDURCC <br />ULTIFAMILY ENTAL WELLING NITS OF THE OSEVILLE ITY ODE <br />3 <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance No. approved by the City Council of <br />4 <br />Roseville on : <br />5 <br />The Roseville City Code, Title 9, Chapter 908 to Regulate Rental Licensing for Multifamily Rental <br />6 <br />Dwelling Units is revised to: <br />7 <br />Section 908.03: Reduce the number of rental dwelling units inspected at license renewal <br />8 <br />to a minimum of 25%. <br />9 <br />Section 908.03.A: Clarify licenses expire as per the license type assigned, versus <br />10 <br />annually or semi-annually. <br />11 <br />Section 908.04: Delete the requirement from Licensing Type Diagram 1 that requires <br />12 <br />applicants to attend quarterly meetings. <br />13 <br />Section 908.04: Clarify wording in Licensing Type Diagram 1 that renewal of licenses <br />14 <br />and payment of fees occur per the diagram timeframe. <br />15 <br />Section 908.04. Diagram 1 & G: Allow all rental properties, regardless of license type, <br />16 <br />the ability to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the City when correction <br />17 <br />of violations is not possible by the license renewal date. <br />18 <br />Section 908.04.F: Clarify that payment of license renewal fee is required by the license <br />19 <br />renewal date. <br />20 <br />Section 908.08A & B: Extend the timeframes for an appeal by a property owner to 30 <br />21 <br />calendar days, and, extend the timeframe for holding the subsequent public hearing to <br />22 <br />90 calendar days. <br />23 <br />A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office <br />24 <br />hours in the office of the City Manager at the Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />25 <br />Roseville, Minnesota 55113.
