This position works to define, establish, and attain the overall goals and objectives of the <br />46 <br />forestry and tree preservation program for the City and is responsible for the contract development and <br />47 <br />management, as well as the program/project management and public education for these programs. <br />48 <br />49 <br />Salary Range: <br />Internally this position falls into grade 12 of the exempt ranges 32.00 – 38.55/Hr. or <br />50 <br />$66,560 - $80,184 annually. <br />51 <br />PO <br />OLICYBJECTIVE <br />52 <br />The 2015 Budget process identified priorities and funding mechanisms for the City to provide needed <br />53 <br />services and programs. Hiring personnel to fill the newly created positions will assist in implementing <br />54 <br />these priorities. <br />55 <br />FI <br />INANCIAL MPACTS <br />56 <br />The proposed budget for 2015 will cover the costs of the positions. The tax levy will pay for <br />57 <br />the costs of the full-time firefighters.
