Attachment A EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of 1 Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 2ndday of March, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. 2 3 The following members were present: ; and and the following members were absent: 4 . 5 6 Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 7 8 RESOLUTION NO. 9 10 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON 11 VICTORIA STREET BETWEEN LARPENTUER AVE AND COUNTY ROAD B 12 13 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: 14 15 WHEREAS, Victoria Street between Larpenteur Ave and County Road B is a Municipal State 16 Aid roadway; 17 18 AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be reconstructed using Municipal State Aid 19 funds and the reconstruction of such roadways must conform to established State Aid standards; 20 21 AND WHEREAS, State Aid standards do not allow parking on both sides of 2 lane roads 22 narrower than 38 feet; 23 24 AND WHEREAS, Victoria Street will be reconstructed to a 32 foot width from Larpenteur Ave 25 to County Road B, parking will be permitted on the east side and “no parking” signs will be 26 posted on the west side of the street. 27 28 AND WHEREAS, Victoria Street has two vertical curves that do not safely accommodate 29 parking on either side of the street through and approaching the curves. 30 31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as 32 follows: 33 34 1.Parking is hereby prohibited along the west side of Victoria Street from Larpenteur 35 Avenue to County Road B; 36 2.Parking is hereby prohibited within 100 feet on either side of the end of the horizontal 37 curves on Victoria Street. 38 39 The motion was duly seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following 40 voted in favor thereof: ; and and the following voted against: . 41 42
