Consider Items Removed from Consent <br /> e. Receive Annual Police Forfeiture Report <br /> At the request of Mayor Roe, City Manager Patrick Trudgeon briefly reviewed <br /> this item as detailed in specific Requests for Council Action(RCA) and related at- <br /> tachments, dated February 23, 2015. <br /> At the request of Councilmember McGehee, Police Chief Mathwig clarified that <br /> there were several accounts: two under Minnesota State Statutes, and one under <br /> Federal Statutes, with different guidelines for all three. Chief Mathwig responded <br /> that federal funds could be used for supplemental staffing under strict interpreta- <br /> tion, and depending on the current State Attorney General's definition of"sup- <br /> plemental" employees. <br /> At the request of Councilmember Laliberte, Chief Mathwig also clarified that for- <br /> feiture funds varied and were therefore not a sustainable use for personnel or <br /> equipment use. <br /> By consensus, the report was received and acknowledged. <br /> 10. General Ordinances for Adoption <br /> a. Approve Rental Licensing Ordinance Amendment <br /> Codes Coordinator Don Munson reviewed the requested action, as detailed in the <br /> February 23, 2015 RCA.
