<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
<br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL
<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
<br />
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,
<br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive,
<br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 10th day of February, 2003, at 6:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, Kysylyczyn
<br />and the following members were absent: None
<br />
<br />Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 10072
<br />RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR
<br />VOLUNTEERS OF THE 2003 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council encourages community participation in city-wide events
<br />and welcomes the participation and leadership of volunteers at such events; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City since 1997 has sponsored a Home and Garden Fair, as a part of its
<br />Housing Program, and as a means of reinvesting in the community; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on February 1,2003, the seventh annual Home and Garden Fair was held
<br />with the participation of over 48 exhibitors and 1,500 visitors to the Fair (within a five-hour
<br />period);
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council hereby
<br />acknowledges and wishes to express their appreciation to the Home and Garden Coordinating
<br />Committee volunteers who successfully planned and implemented all the activities to assure the
<br />Fair's success:
<br />

<br />Cathy Bennett and Pat Morrison, Roseville Community Development
<br />
<br />and the many other volunteers who contributed to the 2003 Home and Garden Fair:

<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kough
<br />and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kough, Klausing,
<br />Maschka, Schroeder and Kysylyczyn
<br />
<br />and the following voted against the same: None
<br />
<br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this lOth day of
<br />February 2003.
