Attachment B EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 1 OF THE 2 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 3 4 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 5 6 7Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of rd 8Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23 day of March, 2014, at 6:00 9p.m. 10 11The following members were present: , , , , and Mayor . 12 and the following were absent: . 13 14Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: 15 16 17 RESOLUTION NO. _____ 18 19 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE NORTH SUBURBAN COMMUNICATIONS 20 COMMISSION JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMEN FOR ADMINISTRATION 21 OF A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM 22 23 WHEREAS 24, the North Suburban Communications Commission (hereinafter the 25“Commission”) is a Joint Powers Commission organized pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 471.59, as 26amended, and includes the municipalities of Arden Hills, Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, Little 27Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, and St. Anthony, Minnesota 28(hereinafter, the “Member Cities”); and 29 WHEREAS, 30on February 5, 2015, the Commission recommended amendments to the Joint 31and Cooperative Agreement by the Member Cities; and 32 WHEREAS 33, the City of Roseville believes that it is in the best interest of the City to amend 34the Joint and Cooperative Agreement as recommended by the Commission. 35 36 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE AS 37 FOLLOWS: 38 39 40Section 1. The City of Roseville herby rescinds the existing Joint and Cooperative Agreement 41for administration of the cable communications system and adopts an amended 42Joint and Cooperative Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part of. 43 44Section 2. This Resolution shall be effectively immediately upon its adoption by the City. 45 46 47 48 49
