The parks and recreation opportunities here were an important part of that decision. We are connected with many other young families in Roseville as well.I think the Commission will be the most effective when its membership more closely represents the demographics of our community because different aspects of the parks appeal to different types of individuals and families. I would like to help represent more families like ours. In addition, I think our Parks and Recreation Department currently does a great job and I am excited about the improvements being implemented to our park buildings and playgrounds. However, I think we could improve further in the area of engaging and encouraging participation from even more Roseville residents, such as newer immigrant families.
