EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 23rd day of March, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Laliberte, McGehee, Willmus, Etten, and Roe and the following were absent: None. Member Willmus introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. 11215 REJECTING BIDS FOR EVERGREEN STORMWATER REUSE PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the construction of the Evergreen Stormwater Reuse Project, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the City Manager of the City of Roseville, said bids were received on Friday, February 27th, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Frattalone Companies $664,818.08 St Paul Utilities $818,800.00 Northdale Construction Company, Inc. $1,035,704.85 WHEREAS, Frattalone Companies was the lowest bidder at $664,818.08; and, WHEREAS, the construction of this project was to be funded through a combination of grants from the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) in the amount of $300,000 and the City of Roseville Stormwater Utility funds for the balance of the project; and, WHEREAS, given an Engineer's Estimate for this project at $458,973, the lowest bid received was approximately 45% over the estimated cost; and, WHEREAS, any additional cost overruns encountered during this project would be the full responsibility of the City of Roseville.
