<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of February, 2003, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, and Kysylyczyn. <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10077 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 298 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1965 CHATSWORTH STREET (PF 3452). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, John Williams has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the <br />Roseville City Code in allow construction of an addition (master bedroom/bathroom) to the <br />existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Williams parcel is located at 1965 Chatsworth Street and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />The South 8 feet of the East 31 feet of Lot 7 and all of Lot 8, Block 2, <br />Ed Bossard's Rose Acres. <br /> <br />PIn Number: 14-29-23-23-0042. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6limits a residential parcel in Roseville to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30% base on the parcel/lot size; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Williams has a lot size of 10,382 square feet, which affords the parcel <br />3,115 square feet of impervious area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Williams parcel has a current total impervious coverage of3,157 square <br />feet, which total complies with the 30% maximum coverage allowance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Williams proposes to construct a 16 foot by 16 foot (256 sq. ft.) master <br />bedroom and bathroom addition to the home, which addition would increase the total impervious <br />coverage for the parcel to 3,413 square feet or an overage of298 square feet from that which is <br />allowed by the City Code; and <br /> <br />1 <br />
