<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 31 st day of March, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Schroeder, Klausing, Kough, Maschka and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10082A <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1,780 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE <br />TO SECTION 1004.01A6 OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br />FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2080 FARRINGTON AVENUE (PF 3454). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Daniel Boerigter has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the <br />Roseville City Code in allow construction of additional living area, entry porch, covered deck <br />and sidewalk to the existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Boerigter parcel is located at 2080 Farrington Avenue and legally <br />described at as: <br /> <br />Thornton's Subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 29, Range 23, <br />subject to Burke Avenue and excluding the South 555 feet of the <br />East 124-47/100 feet of Lot 10. <br /> <br />PIN: 13-29-23-12-0045. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A61imits a residential parcel in Roseville to a maximum <br />impervious coverage of 30% base on the parcel/lot size; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter has a lot size of 114,928 square feet, which affords the parcel <br />4,4 79 square feet of impervious area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Boerigters parcel has a current total impervious coverage of 4,51 0 <br />square feet, which total complies with the 30% maximum coverage allowance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter proposes to construct 1,749 square feet in home and site <br />improvements, which would increase the total impervious coverage for the parcel to 6,259 or <br />42% or an overage of 1,780 square feet from that which is allowed by the City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Boerigter variance request (Section 1004.01A6) on March 5, 2003, and recommended (5-1) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated March 5, 2003. <br /> <br />1 <br />
