We’ll start the tour at the <br />newly built Lexington Park buildingsite and then we’ll provide transportation to the Roseville <br />Skating Center and learn about our geothermal refrigeration systems. After that we’ll head <br />over to Muriel SahlinArboretum groundsand visit several other facility and natural resource <br />locations. <br />Fire Department <br />Four Sessions <br />Session One|Tuesday, September 22 |6:00p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | <br />Fire Station <br />HomeFire Prevention for the Whole Family (Bring the Kids!) <br />We’ve designed aspecial evening with two classes:one for kids and one for adults. Kids will <br />learn about fire prevention in a kid-friendly setting.Adults will get an in depth look at fire <br />dangers and what you can do to keep safeincluding installing smoke detectors and CO <br />detectors, how to usea fire extinguishers and other fire safety techniques. <br />Session Two |Wednesday, September 23|6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | <br />Fire Station <br />Roseville Fire Department- Operations 101 <br />Get a behind the sceneslook at how the Roseville Fire Department works. Find out where the <br />firefighters sleep, get a tour of the fire station,ride on a fire truck, and see what it feelsliketo <br />usea fire hose. This is a must see, hands-on, firefighting experience. <br />Session Three |Thursday, September 24|6:00p.m.- 7:30 p.m. | <br />Fire Station <br />WhenDisaster Strikes <br />Whether a storm, fire, or disaster thattakesyou off the grid, you should be prepared for the <br />worst, and hope for the best.We’ll provide you with basicinformation to prepare your family <br />before adisaster hits. Get basictraining on how to properly usea fire extinguisher, search and <br />rescue, shutting off electric, water and gas utilities, and basicfirst aid. <br />Session Four |Tuesday, September 29|6:00p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | <br />Fire Station <br />Fire 101 <br />Whatare theleading causes offire? The Comp Plan and the City Code spellsit out…. it’s a little more complicated than <br />that.Roseville’s Planning and Zoning Division guidesthe city planning process. We’ll explainallthat’s involved to meet our infrastructure, housing, <br />economic development, recreation, environmental protection, transportation and other needs toremain a vibrant community.
