Plans s and specifications were developed for the project and bids were solicited in March. TMs year's 4 PMP project also includes Roselawn Avenue which is a border road with the City of Falcon 5 Heights. As such, Falcon Heights does have a cost contribution to this project. s The bids were opened at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Four qualified bids were 7 received for this year's project. After thorough review of the bids received staff recommends a awarding the following work as a part of the 2015 Pavement Management Project: 9 P-15-04 Mill and Overlay Project—Approximately 4.7 miles of roadway (See Attachment B for 10 the street segments in the 2015 Pavement Management Program) 11 12 P-15-04 WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT 13 • Roselawn Ave (Fairview Ave to Snelling Ave) 14 • RyanAve (Hamlin Ave to Fernwood Ave) 15 • Draper Ave (Hamlin Ave to Fernwood Ave) 16 17 P-15-04 STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS 18 • Millwood Ave (near Victoria Street) 19 • Mid Oaks Lane (near Roselawn Ave) 20 • Ryan Ave (near Aldine St) 21 POLICYOBJECTIVE 22 Based on past practice, the City Council has awarded the contract to the lowest responsible 23 bidder. For the 2015 Pavement Management Project, the apparent low bid is Park Construction 24 Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
