Marion Street / The Brittanys
G & G Management, LLC
Council Members April 6, 2015
City of Roseville
Roseville City Hall
2660 Civic Center Drive
1. Staff did not inform us about
❑ 20ft2 bare land
❑ Smoke detector in each bedroom
❑ Smoke detectors in Living room with bed
❑ Garages
❑ City of Roseville code chapter 906/407
2. Rules are new & need time to comply like SD in bedrooms and LR
with bed, we were not aware about this code. From last 10 years
section 8 MHR inspectors never mentioned anything about it.
3. All units and buildings were inspected completely according to
guidelines provided with the contractors, fixing/replacing
❑ Electric Contractor- SD, CO, lights, electrical issues
❑ Screens contractors
❑ windows contractors
❑ painting contractors
4. We still insist on yearly inspection, because of weather it is not
practical to do any outside work during 6-7 month of the winter.
5. You can't ignore the facts that most tenants are refugees who have
hard time adjusting in US and do not speak English. In spite of
regular meeting with tenants, KOM, their understanding is very
slow.
6. List of improvements made are huge investments, all major issues
were resolved like window replacement, parking lot, screens etc
7. Environment improvements cannot be ignored, which eventually
become health issues and will be more critical.
8. Paint on the outlet is neither an operational issue nor a fire hazard.
We do not use lead paint. Fire Marshall did not point out the outlets.
9. Things break down everyday, unless reported by tenants, no way for
the management to know about it. We can't harass tenants for
inspections everyday.
