<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of April, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough and <br />Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Schroeder introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10091 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 2 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 <br />(DWELLING DIMENSIONS - SIDE YARD SETBACK) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY <br />CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1760 DUNLAP STREET (PF 3459). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian Bean has requested a variance to Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville <br />City Code in allow construction of living area and an attached garage to his existing home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Bean parcel is located at 1760 Dunlap Street and legally described at as: <br /> <br />The north ~ of Lot 10 and all of Lot 9, Block 1, Lexington Heights <br />PIN: 01-29-23-44-0003 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimension - Side Yard setback) requires a <br />five foot minimum principal structure side yard setback; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bean home is a 1940's home currently set back three feet from the side <br />yard (north) property line; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bean desires to construct living area and an attached garage at the <br />current location of the existing home or two feet into the required five foot side yard setback; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Bean variance request on April 2, 2003, and recommended (4-3) approval of the request, based <br />on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated April 2, <br />2003. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Brian <br />Bean a 2 foot variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling Dimension - Side Yard Setback) of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow construction of living area and attached garage at 1760 Dunlap <br />Street, based on the findings in Section 5 and of the project report dated April 28, 2003 and <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />3 <br />
