EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 28th day of April, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: Klausing, Mascbka, Schroeder, Kough and Kysylyczyn and the following members were absent: none. Member Kough introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10094 RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT UL-03-11, INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS ON OAKCREST AVENUE, FROM PRIOR AVENUE TO FAIRVIEW AVENUE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: 1. By resolution adopted April 7, 2003, the Council directed the City Engineer to prepare a preliminary report as to the feasibility of proposed improvement UL-03-11. 2. The City Engineer was also directed to include in the report the estimated cost ofthe proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement should best be made as proposed. The preliminary report and cost estimates have been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the City Manager. The improvement proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as improvement UL-03-11. 3. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on June 2, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429, and the Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place, and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in the official newspaper, Pioneer Press, which publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of hearing. 4. The notice shall be in substantially the following form (see attachment). 5. The general nature, estimated cost and area proposed to be assessed for improvement UL-03- 11 is determined to be as stated in the foregoing notice, as fully as though the same were separately set forth and resolved herein. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Klausing and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Klausing, Mascbka, Kough and Kysylyczyn; the following voted against the same: none; and the following abstained: Schroeder. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
