Attachment A <br />Section 26C Appointment by Trustees <br />In case said Relief Association be discontinued or the Treasurer should resign or be <br />removed from office, the Board of Trustees shall elect a new Treasurer. If for good cause <br />shown, the Board fails to elect a Treasurer, the District Court may appoint a trustee or <br />trustees of said funds or may direct that the funds be paid to the Finance Director of the <br />City of Roseville, to be held in trust and paid out only in accordance with these Bylaws. <br />Section 27 Moved to 10A <br />Section 28 Moved to 10B <br />BENEFITS AND PENSIONS <br />Section 29 Application for Benefits <br />All applications for service pension benefits shall be made to the Board of Trustees within <br />sixty (60) days of retirement. Following acceptance of the application, and review by the <br />Secretary, the application shall be considered by the Board of Trustees at the next Regular <br />Meeting. <br />All applications for disability benefits shall be made within thirty (30) days from the first date <br />of the disability or of the event giving rise to the application. An application for disability <br />benefits shall be accompanied by a certificate of disability from the applicant's treating <br />physician, stating the length of time that such member has been unable to perform any and <br />every kind of duty pertaining to that member's usual occupation. Said application shall also <br />establish that such disability or injury was received at the time and in the manner provided <br />in these Bylaws to permit an application for disability benefits. The Board of Trustees may <br />deny a claim for disability for failure to file a timely application. <br />Section 30 Relief Committee <br />The President, Vice President and Secretary of this Association shall constitute the Relief <br />Committee, whose duty it shall be to determine the cause of the disability of any member <br />and report the same to the Board of Trustees at its next Regular Meeting and it shall be the <br />duty of each Trustee to notify the Relief Committee of the disability of any member of this <br />Association. <br />Section 31 Benefit Amounts <br />Pension benefit amounts are stated in the Annual Authorization Schedule as approved <br />by the Board of Trustees. <br />Section 32 Benefits to be Prorated <br />All monies of this Association shall be disbursed only as provided herein.
