Attachment A <br />days after mailing such notice, the Board of Trustees may, by resolution, cancel their <br />membership. Any member may be reinstated to membership within sixty (60) days <br />thereafter by paying the dues arrearages. <br />Section 55 Pension Benefits <br />Any member discharged, expelled or who has resigned from the Roseville Fire Department <br />or from the Relief Association before their right to service pension benefits has been <br />approved or vested, shall forFeit for themselves, their Surviving Spouse and minor children <br />all claims for any benefits payable pursuant to these Bylaws, provided however, no such <br />forFeiture shall result from a granting of a leave of absence from the Fire Department or the <br />Relief Association. <br />Section 56 Expulsion <br />Any member who shall be determined by the Board of Trustees to be or have been <br />feigning sickness or injury for the purpose of avoiding the member's responsibility for <br />service or to secure benefits to which the member is not entitled shall be expelled. <br />Section 57 Funds of Association <br />All moneys received by the Association shall be kept in two separate funds as set forth <br />below. <br />Section 58 General Fund <br />Funds received from dues, fines, initiation fees, entertainments, and all money or property <br />donated, given, granted or devised by any person, for the benefit of said fund or for <br />unspecified uses, shall be kept in a general fund and may be disbursed upon a majority <br />vote of the members of the Board of Trustees for any purpose reasonably suited to <br />promote the welfare of the Association and its members, and the maintenance of the <br />equipment of the Fire Department. <br />Section 59 Special Fund <br />All funds received from the Minnesota Fire State Aid monies, all funds received from the <br />annual tax levied by the City Council and any funds or property donated, given, granted or <br />devised by any person which are specified for use for the support of the Special Fund, shall <br />be kept in a special fund on the books of the Association, to be known as the "Special <br />Fund" and may be disbursed only for the following purposes: <br />a. For the payment of service pensions to qualified retired members of <br />the Association; <br />b. For the payment of temporary or permanent disability retirement <br />benefits to qualified disabled members of the Association; <br />c. For the payment of survivor retirement benefits to qualified Surviving <br />Spouses or minor children of deceased members of the Association; <br />d. For the payment of any death benefits to the qualified Surviving <br />Spouse, or if no Surviving Spouse, the estate, of a deceased member <br />of the Association; <br />
