Department Approval <br />�:i � <br />� <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 6/8/2015 <br />Item No.: 6.b <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Accept Donation of Golf Cart from Roseville Police Foundation <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Police Department's Citizens Park Patrol uses a 2003 golf court to patrol Roseville Parks. While <br />Park Patrol can also use the department's ATV, many park patrol members prefer the comfort of the <br />golf cart and do not wish to use the ATV. <br />The Police Department wishes to expand the current Park Patrol into other Roseville parks and allow <br />for increased volunteer options with the Park Patrol. <br />The Roseville Police Foundation has agreed to orchestrate the donation of a 2015 Cub Cadet <br />Transporter with an approximate value of $8,000. <br />Roseville Police Foundation board members, Julie Wearn and Mike Bilski are scheduled to attend this <br />meeting and make the donation. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />Allow the police department to accept the donation of the cart. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />� There is no initial cost to the city.
